Tool Overview

ADZE-B With Wooden Handle (Item No. Rah1643)

An adze for shaping and smoothing timber, hollowing logs and clearing roots. The head is drop-forged from high-carbon steel and heat-treated, then fitted to a wooden handle.

The curved blade takes clean shavings and the offset eye keeps the handle clear of the work.

The seasoned wooden handle absorbs shock and is wedged into the eye for a tight, permanent fit.

Typical applications: timber framing,woodworking,log building,land clearing.
